This year’s Minnesota Vikings were 7-1 as they entered a battle against the presumed Super Bowl darling Buffalo Bills last weekend. Very few pundits gave the Vikings a chance, citing their weaker division and hollow victories over lesser opponents and a quarterback who may or may not be legitimately crazy.

At certain points throughout the game, it felt like the Vikings of old had returned, and were trying desperately to give the game away. But somehow, someway, with the football gods arranging the unlikeliest of endzone fumbles by the most heralded quarterback in the league, the Vikes managed to eek out a narrow win in overtime.

(That non-catch ‘catch’ by Gabe Davis at the end of regulation should have given the Vikings the win, but terrible events like that had Vikings nation braced for the worst.)

Here’s where you can take a look at that insane Justin Jefferson catch.

And here’s the call on that catch (and eventually the win) from Paul Allen. Enjoy!
